What is the Audience Builder?

The Audience Builder lets you build a list of companies matching a description you write yourself — no filters, no dropdowns, just a plain-English prompt like "mid-market manufacturers in the Midwest using SAP".

Grizz translates your prompt into a structured query across our technology confirmation database and returns a downloadable list of matching companies with firmographic details and detected tech signals.

How to Build an Audience

   Go to the Audience Builder

   Navigate to Company › Audiences from the main menu.

   Write your prompt

   Describe the companies you want to target. Be specific — the more detail you include about industry, size, geography, or technology, the better your results.

   Example prompts:

   "Scaffolding contractors in New York with 50–500 employees"

   "Mid-market manufacturers in the Midwest using SAP ERP"

   "Healthcare staffing agencies that use Bullhorn ATS"

   Wait for results

   Grizz processes your prompt and runs a query against our database. Most audiences complete in 30–90 seconds. You can leave the page and come back — your audience will be saved.

   Download your list

   Once complete, download a CSV with company names, domains, HQ location, headcount, revenue range, and confirmed tech signals.

Tips for Better Prompts

• ·Include industry or vertical — "healthcare staffing", "residential construction", "food manufacturing"
• ·Add geography — "in Texas", "across the Southeast", "in Canada"
• ·Mention technology — "using Workday", "with a Bullhorn ATS", "running SAP or Oracle"
• ·Specify size — "50–500 employees", "mid-market", "enterprise"
